目前反渗透技术已成为海水淡化最主要的方法之一,而预处理是反渗透技术必不可少的步骤。因传统方法不能完全去除胶体和悬浮物质,出水水质易波动,从而降低反渗透膜的产水能力及寿命。超滤膜微孔的孔径只允许水分子、水中的有益矿物质和微量元素通过,因此细菌以及比细菌体积大得多的胶体、铁锈、悬浮物、泥沙、大分子有机物等都能被超滤膜截留下来,从而实现了净化过程。
